I am Taylor Koedyker, a naturalist maker trialing with the adversity of our complicated existence. I am an independent MetalSmith classically trained in Silver and Gold Smithing with over 15 years experience. Currently working from Los Angeles, my pieces are body adornment, wearable extensions of an idea. Symbolic stones to kinetic creatures, made with purpose.

Gems and minerals grow in so many different ways and yet are all products of our natural world and a specific circumstance. They signify the opportunity and ability thats alive in all things. ​With my designs being wide ranged I find cohesiveness in illustrating the wonders of the world while acknowledging humanity’s growing disconnect to it.

As we face an uncertain future, we can still make a shift to a better existence. And I hope that my little intentional pieces of metal help to advocate this belief.
